1. What is “Doggy Laundry”?

Doggy laundry includes any washable items used by dogs — things like beds, blankets, towels, clothes, toys, crate liners — that pick-up fur, dirt, saliva, odours, and need regular cleaning, sanitising, and deodorising.

2. What types of items do you clean?

We clean most fabric-based dog items, including:

• Dog beds, bed covers, blankets, throws

• Pet clothing (hoodies, bandanas, raincoats)

• Towels, crate liners, mats, rugs

• Travel items: harnesses, collars, leashes, travel blankets

• Washable feeding mats and grooming cloths

• Plush and soft toys

3. What kind of detergent do you use?

We use pet-safe detergent — no harsh chemicals like bleach, phenols, or strong artificial dyes.
After washing, we make sure to rinse thoroughly so there’s no residue left.

4. How do you clean hard toys (like rubber or plastic)?

For plastic or rubber toys, we hand wash them with warm water and pet-safe antibacterial soap.

We always rinse them very well to remove any soap residue.

5. How do you sanitise items that may carry germs (like after illness)?

Laundry exposed to serious pathogens (e.g., parvovirus), is treated with strong disinfecting protocols as well as vet-approved detergent.

After that, we clean the washer and dryer (interior) with appropriate disinfectants to avoid cross-contamination.​

6. How do you dry pet items safely?

We use medium heat and avoid dryer sheets (because of chemicals).

We ensure all items are completely dry before returning them — moisture can lead to mold or mildew.

7. Do you inspect items for damage before returning them?

Yes — after washing and drying, we check every item for signs of wear, tear, or damage (especially toys).

8. What if my dog has allergies or very sensitive skin?

Choose the hypoallergenic wash when booking.

9. Is there a limit to how many items I can send at once?

The booking calendar will grey out once the maximum capacity has been reached for the specific day chosen.

10. How long does the cleaning process take?

We collect your laundry in the morning and deliver the clean laundry in the late afternoon.

11. Is there anything I should do as pick-up occurs?

Yes, to help us clean effectively:
